The "Karlskirche" in #Vienna is a baroque church, designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. Built 1716-1737 (completed by his son) after Emperor Charles VI's 1713 vow following Vienna's last major plague, it's dedicated to plague saint Charles Borromeo. The facade blends a classical temple portico, two towering Roman-inspired columns, a grand dome, and various eclectic elements.
