"Kasteel Meylandt", located in #Heusden (Limburg), Belgium was first mentioned in 1385 as "Hof van Boeckt". It was renamed "Milandt" in 1603. Acquired by the van Voost family in 1664 and later passing to the de Theux family through marriage, it was transformed from a manor into a castle. Major neoclassical renovations occurred in 1842 by Count Barthélémy de Theux de Meylandt, a key Belgian statesman, and in 1907 by his son Albert, who added the coach house.
