One of the only two surviving authentic medieval wooden facades in #Brugge (West-Vlaanderen). This rare 16th-century (ca. 1550 or earlier) timber-framed house has a projecting upper storey to protect from rain and gain space. Wooden houses were banned in the 17th century due to fire risks, making its survival miraculous.
