Corvershof

Description

"Corvershof" in #Amsterdam (Noord-Holland), was originally built in 1723 by the Protestantse Diaconie as a charitable courtyard housing complex, serving as a nursing or retirement home specifically for elderly married couples of the Dutch Reformed Church. It provided care and accommodation for the elderly and sick, funded by the inheritance of Joan Corver, a local merchant.
