The "Zimmertoren", originally known as the "Cornelius Tower", is a historic structure in #Lier (Antwerpen), Belgium. Built before 1425 as part of the city's initial fortifications, it was sold in 1812 but repurchased after World War I to prevent demolition. In 1928, clockmaker Louis Zimmer donated the "Jubelklok," an intricate clock displaying various times and astronomical phenomena, which was installed in the renovated tower between 1928 and 1930.
