The former guild house of carpenters and coopers in #Brussel called "Den Sack". Established in 1365, likely at this site since 1444. Rebuilt in 1645-1646, the facade largely survived the 1695 bombardment. Restored in 1697 by Antoon Pastorana, with sculptures by H. Merckaert and Pierre Van Dievoet. It is a four-story deep house with a sandstone gable, baroque design, and ornate top floor. It features Ionic and Corinthian columns, caryatids, and a 1697-dated gable stone.
