"De Grote Vos" a former masons' guild house in #Brugge (West-Vlaanderen), is a four-bay, three-story building with a saddle roof, built in 1625 in late renaissance style, designed by H. Stalpaert and J. De Wachter. Its ornate gable from 1625, was restored in 1862 and 1884-1885 by L. Delacenserie. The plastered, red-painted, polychromed facade features a curved gable with Hans Vredeman de Vries-style scrollwork, arched upper floors with craft reliefs, and Doric, Ionic, and herm-figure pilasters. Rectangular windows in arched niches, acanthus, and cartouche decorations, and three copper vase ornaments crown the gable.
