Ridderhofstad Oudaan

Description

"Oudaan", a former knightly estate in #Breukelen (Utrecht), lies along the Vecht River. Likely founded in the late 13th century by the Van Loenersloot family, it was originally called "Oud Aa". After Zweder van Loenersloot's death in 1429, it passed to Dirck Taets, then to the Van der Burch family via sale in 1578. Spared destruction during the French occupation in 1672-1673, it was renovated in the 17th century.
