The "Hodshon Huis" is a city palace in #Haarlem (Noord-Holland), built in 1794-1795 for Cornelia Catharina Hodshon, designed by architect Abraham van der Hart. Located along the Spaarne River, it features a prominent bay window spanning its full height, a natural stone plinth, and seven bays on the main and upper floors. A wooden balustrade with a central sculpture crowns the facade. The rear, between two wings, has a neo-gothic crenelated wall and wrought-iron fence. The interior includes preserved state rooms: the dining room, Etruscan-style conversation room with Greek-inspired painting, a red room with wood carvings (later a library), and a blue music room with Wedgwood-style stucco. A neo-gothic auditorium with a beamed ceiling and murals was added in 1903 by architects Klinkhamer and Ouëndag.
