Description

The belfry of the town hall in Armentières (département du Nord), a city in northern France, is a replacement of the original belfry, which was destroyed by King Louis XI of France and rebuilt in 1510. After Armentières was annexed by France in 1668, the 67-meter-high belfry was integrated into the town hall. It was rebuilt after World War I.
