"Kolmont Castle", located #Overrepen (Limburg), Belgium, lies near the ruins of Kolmont fortress. Built in 1840-1850, the castle features three brick wings with a symmetrical facade. The central two-story, five-bay section has a mansard slate roof and a domed central projection. Flanking wings, added in 1920, have two stories, three bays, and a colonnaded lower level with terraces above. Originally part of the Kolmont lordship, the land was granted to Arnold Christiaan de Bellefroid in 1761. The castle was built by the de Bellefroid-Van der Meer family, later owned by magistrate Armand Claessens, and then inhabited by knight Erard de Schaetzen, former Tongeren mayor.
