Description

The "Pageshuis", is a historic building on Lange Voorhout in #DenHaag (Zuid-Holland). Built in phases on a plot once part of the 15th-century Predikheerenklooster, it originally had three bays, later expanded in the 17th and 18th centuries. Named after the pages of the Prince of Orange, young men from prominent families trained as cadets, it housed them when summoned to court. The building retained its stepped gable, adorned with heads of war gods Mars and Bellona.
