Hansahuis

Description

A building complex in #Antwerpen, constructed between 1897 and 1903 for Wilhelm von Mallinckrodt, designed by Joseph Hertogs. It includes the Mallinckrodt office (1897), a warehouse (1900), and the monumental Hansahuis (1903) with bronze statues by Jef Lambeaux. The complex along the Scheldt river blends eclectic and beaux-arts styles. An extra floor was added in 1962.
