"Huis De Werken van Barmhartigheid" at Kraanlei 79 is a 17th-century baroque house in #Gent (Oost-Vlaanderen) originally serving as an inn. Its façade displays six stone reliefs depicting the corporal works of mercy: burying the dead, visiting prisoners, caring for the sick, feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, and clothing the naked. The seventh act, sheltering the homeless, is symbolized by the building itself.
