"Het Vliegend Hert" (also known as "De Fluitspeler") is a richly ornamented 17th-century baroque townhouse at Kraanlei 81 in #Gent (Oost-Vlaanderen). Built in 1669, its terracotta façade features allegorical reliefs representing the five senses, a winged deer (the "flying stag"), and a flutist, from which its names derive. The gable is adorned with acanthus scrolls, putti, and statues symbolizing Faith, Hope, and Charity, topped by a Madonna and Child.
