The "Instituut der Wetenschappen", also known as the "Plateau-Roziergebouw", is a neoclassical university building in #Gent (Oost-Vlaanderen), Belgium, constructed between 1883 and 1890 by architect Adolphe Pauli. It houses the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (Plateau wing) and the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy (Rozier wing) of Ghent University. The complex includes lecture halls, laboratories, and the Armand Pien public observatory. It was built with French limestone and bluestone.
