Description

The "Sint Agathaklooster" in #Delft (Zuid-Holland) was founded around 1403 as a monastery for the Order of St. Augustine. It grew into an important religious institution with significant buildings and land. In the 16th century, it became a political center during the Dutch Revolt, hosting the States of Holland. William of Orange also used it as his residence. The complex played a key role in both religious and political history before its secular use in later centuries.
