Kruittoren

Description

The Kruittoren, located at Kruittoren 1 in Zutphen, is a national monument dating back to the 15th century. Situated in the northern part of the Nieuwstad near the railway, this unadorned brick structure features a square floor plan and an internal dome vault. Its current roofing was added during a restoration in 1930. Historically, the tower served as a military storage facility.
