Petit Palais

Description

The "Petit Palais" in #Paris was built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition by architect Charles Girault in Beaux-Arts style, drawing on late 17th-18th century French classicism. It features a trapezoidal layout with four wings around a semi-circular garden and richly decorated peristyle. Girault blended traditional grandeur with modern elements for smooth visitor flow and bold openings to the Champs-Élysées and inner courtyard.
