Balmoral Hotel

Description

The "Balmoral Hotel" in #Edinburgh opened in 1902 as the "North British Station Hotel", a grand railway hotel built by the North British Railway Company next to Waverley Station. Architects W. Hamilton Beattie and A.R. Scott won a 1895 competition to design it. Its Victorian style blends with Scots baronial elements, featuring prominent turrets, towers, balconies, and a landmark clock tower.
