"Château de Thoricourt" in #Silly, originated as a 12th-century site (name meaning "Thor's farm"). An older castle was rebuilt in the 17th century. The current structure, a harmonious 18th-century classical ensemble in Tournaisian style, was built in 1768 by Charles-François de la Marlière. It features a main building with front courtyard, entrance pavilions, and carriage houses, plus an orangery (1830) and landscaped park.
