The "Neues Rathaus" in #Hannover is a grand town hall constructed from 1901 to 1913. Designed mainly by architect Hermann Eggert in an eclectic Wilhelminian style blending neo-renaissance and historicist elements, it features a prominent 98m dome with a unique diagonal elevator. Opened in 1913 under Wilhelm II, it replaced the old medieval town hall.
