"De Passer", the house of architect Jean-Jacques Winders, built in 1882-1883 in #Antwerpen, is a decorative brick single-house on a narrow 8m trapezoidal plot, with four storeys, two bays under a gable roof, stepped side gables, rich ornamentation (wrought anchors, bas-reliefs, root motifs, diamond heads, balusters), polychromy in red brick with white stone and bluestone, a swinging gable, prominent oriel windows and a Serliana loggia. The classic 19th-century interior layout featured enfilade rooms and lavish decoration.
