Description

A double house in #Mechelen (Antwerpen) with a rococo clock gable dated "ANNO 1773". It has three storeys and three bays under a saddle roof. The open facade features near-coupled windows across all levels, narrow parapets, and segmental arch windows in flat bands with decorated keystones and festoons; profiled sills on consoles linked by flower garlands. Basement hatch in the third bay.The central bay is emphasized: ground floor has a mirror-arch door in profiled frame on plinths with shell keystone, wooden curved transom and fanlight, topped by cornice drip on rocaille consoles. Upper door-windows in shouldered arch frames with rocaille motifs; fine wrought-iron balconies added after 1918. Gable topped by volutes, shouldered arch attic window under curved drip, triangular pediment with blind oculus, and sculpted weathercock above.
