"De Dolphijn" in #Amsterdam (Noord-Holland) is a grand canal house built around 1600 for poet Hendrick Laurensz. Spiegel. It was designed by Hendrick de Keyser. One of the earliest Amsterdam examples of a main house with a side house (precursor to double canal houses), it belonged to Frans Banninck Cocq when Rembrandt painted him in The Night Watch.
