WWI destroyed "Het Schildeken" in #Lier (Antwerpen) In 1917, the building was rebuilt as the "De Gouden Ring" shop, designed by J.B. Van Bouchout. The interwar eclectic three-bay, four-story white-stone house blends neo-rococo and neo-baroque styles, featuring a swirling gable, gilded details, curved bay window, and rocaille arches.
