"Kasteel Ter Laken" in #Booischot (Antwerpen), is a castle rebuilt around 1800 and redesigned in 1871-1874 by architect Joseph Claes. Featuring a monumental façade and symmetrical layout, it showcases Flemish neo-renaissance style with brick and natural stone. The entrance tower has three stories, and the chapel includes a tower. Windows often have triangular pediments, with decorations like crescent moon and fleur-de-lis motifs. The interiors feature neo-gothic salons. The 29-30-hectare estat,, includes an oak forest, grasslands, water features, a cottage-style villa, a farm, a forester's house, and an ice cellar with a neo-gothic chapel.
