Description

The Plantin-Moretus House, located in #Antwerpen, Belgium, is a historic 16th-century printing house founded by Christoffel Plantin. After his death, his son-in-law Jan I Moretus took over. The building, a hub for scholars like Justus Lipsius, was sold to Antwerp and the Belgian state in 1876. It became the first museum on UNESCO's World Heritage list for its well-preserved 16th-century printing house. The house features Flemish furniture, gold leather paneling, and intricate woodwork.
