"Hof Bladelin", a city palace in #Brugge (West-Vlaanderen) built in 1435 for Pieter Bladelin, showcases 15th-century Burgundian architecture. The gothic tower, a symbol of wealth, dominates the cobblestone courtyard with geometric box hedges. The main entrance features an arcade with sculpted corbels depicting loyalty and the story of St. Alphege. In 1469, Tommaso Portinari added renaissance medallions of Lorenzo De' Medici and Clarisse Orsini, the earliest renaissance artworks in Bruges. The palace's ochre-yellow facade includes Medici emblems. Two historic rooms display 16th-century mannerist paintings and heraldic beams of Philip the Good and Isabella of Portugal. The 1832 neoclassical chapel, designed by F. Cools, features a three-aisled structure with Doric and Ionic columns, a coffered vault, and grisaille paintings.
