The "Oostkerk" in #Middelburg 🇳🇱 is an octagonal Protestant domed church, the first in the city built specifically for Protestant worship. Designed initially by Bartholomeus Drijfhout, construction ran from 1648 to 1667 in Dutch Classicism/Baroque style. Its landmark round dome with lantern and rich architectural details remain virtually intact after 350+ years.
