Kasteel Vanackere

Description

"Kasteel Vanackere" in #Wevelgem (West-Vlaanderen) was built in 1894-1896 for Jules Vanackere-Van der Mersch and designed by C. Vanhoutte. The castle, designed in Flemish neo-renaissance style, features a grand entrance, wrought-iron portal, complex roof, and bay turrets. Its eclectic interior includes neo-style salons, a marble staircase, and paintings inspired by Pieter Bruegel and Flemish Primitives. The estate also includes a caretaker's house, garden pavilions, and a pond.
