Beurs van Berlage

Description

The "Beurs van Berlage", designed by Hendrik Petrus Berlage, is a national monument in #Amsterdam (Noord-Holland), built from 1898-1903. Located on the Damrak, its trapezoidal design follows a rationalist approach, with form and ornament emphasizing construction. Inspired by North-Italian romanesque and renaissance architecture, it features a clock tower possibly modeled after Brescia’s Torre del Popolo.
