Kasteel Geulzicht

"Kasteel Geulzicht" in #BergenTerblijt (Limburg), is a late 19th-century castle designed by Maastricht architect Henri Reek in English neo-gothic style. Built in ochre marlstone, it features a villa-like, romantic design with three towers, including a prominent medieval donjon-like tower, adorned with stepped gables and balustrades. The interior boasts intricate woodwork, paneled walls, a monumental fireplace with glazed tiles, and a white marble dining room fireplace supported by four columns. The reception hall displays Biblical and mythological ceiling paintings by Adrianus Hartigh.
