Landhuis

Description

The "Landhuis", located in #SintNiklaas (Oost-Vlaanderen), is the oldest surviving building on the Grote Markt. Built in 1551, it served as the seat of the Land van Waas' main college, handling judicial appeals, taxes, and regional affairs. Its has a red baroque facade, completed in 1637. Over time, it housed taverns, a barracks, and a literary society.
