The Belfry of Sint-Winoksbergen, located in the northern French town of Sint-Winoksbergen (département du Nord), is a 54-meter-high tower topped with a Flemish Lion. Every Monday, its carillon of fifty bells resonates over the town square and surrounding areas. Although it appears as a gothic structure, the current belfry was reconstructed in 1961 after the original, dating back to the late 14th century, was destroyed during World War II. The original tower featured numerous pointed arch niches and was crowned with a lantern and four turreted corner towers.
