Donkervliet

Description

A 1893 neo-renaissance villa called "Donkervliet" in #Baambrugge (Utrecht). It features a composite floor plan with two stories under a high, flattened mansard roof covered with red tiles. Brick facades rise above a natural stone plinth, accented by stone cordon bands, cornices, and yellow decorative brickwork. Lion-head keystones and colored tile mosaics adorn the relieving arches. Various window types, including T-windows and a Serlian window, mark the facades. The front facade has a central entrance with a paneled door, flanked by a decorative wooden conservatory and a projecting gable with a broken pediment.
