The town hall of #Vilvoorde (Vlaams-Brabant) was designed in neoclassical style by Brussels architect Antoine Trappeniers. It was built between 1870 and 1873 due to the need for a new municipal building amid rapid urban and industrial growth. Its design emphasizes monumental aesthetics with a sober interior. The front features blue stone, grand stairs, and classic architectural elements. Inside, it has a central hall, council and wedding rooms, and a stained-glass window by Louis de Contini.
