Description

The "Johan Willem Friso Barracks" in #Assen (Drenthe), constructed between 1893 and 1905, comprise three main buildings: Wilhelmina, Emma, and Hendrik, designed in Dutch neo-renaissance style. These structures feature elongated rectangular layouts with rear wings, ornate facades adorned with natural stone and red brick accents, and distinctive elements like turrets and sculpted lions. The complex also includes guardhouses in Italian Renaissance style.
