"Kasteel Mariahove", located in #Bellem (Oost-Vlaanderen), Belgium, originated in the mid-16th century under the Rijm family. In 1808, industrialist Jacob Lieven van Caneghem acquired the estate and rebuilt the castle in 1815, designed by architect Bruno Renard. Between 1855 and 1860, it was remodeled in neoclassical style by the de Kerchove-de Naeyer family. The estate features a 16th-century dovecote and an English-style park designed by landscape architect E. Rosseels Sr.
