"Hôtel Continental" in #Brussel, built in 1874 by architect Eugène Carpentier, is a striking example of eclectic architecture. Located at Place de Brouckère 41, it features a richly ornamented main building inspired by the Louvre's 19th-century expansion, with sculptural work by Louis Samain. Originally topped with a grand roof and a sculptural group called "The Feast", the building suffered a fire in 1901, leading to a simplified roof design. Today, it is known for the prominent sign on its roof. The building has served various purposes over time, including as a café-restaurant and exhibition hall.
