Vismarkt 40

Description

Vismarkt 40 is a national monument located in #Groningen. While its façade dates from the 18th century, the building's origins trace back to the 14th century, making it one of the city's oldest preserved structures. The 18th-century renovation, commissioned by Daniël Henri l'Argentier du Chesnoy, lord of Bierum, included the addition of a sculpted exterior staircase, which remains today.
