Kasteel Genhoes

Description

"Kasteel Genhoes", located in #SchinOpGeul (Limburg), the Netherlands, likely dates back to the 11th or 12th century. In 1381, it was owned by Johan van Hulsberg and Johan van Aldenvalckenborgh. By inheritance, it passed to Johan van Ghoor in 1475, and his son Herman later transferred it to Johan van Streithagen, who rebuilt the moated castle between 1540 and 1560.
